As the seasons change and the year draws to a close, we reflect on our annual campaign, the Garden of Gratitude. As we sit in gratitude, we have found a bright place in the community. Like a garden nurtured with care, your support has helped us cultivate gratitude, peace, and joy in the homes of children experiencing family separation through divorce, military transitions, first responder duties, or other circumstances.

Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, and every sign of encouragement has planted a seed of kindness which we have tended to by answering the call from families in need, providing them with the tools to mend relationships, communicate effectively, and manage their emotions in a healthy way. Through this labor of love, we have seen these seeds sprout into meaningful changes. A parent recently shared during the program graduation, “I was court ordered to this program, and I was super annoyed, but came with an open mind. I highlighted the workbook. I took notes and I’m implementing the skills. I learned I can only change me and at the end of the day, it’s all about our kids. I am changing my behaviors, so I have no regrets.” Children shared their impact by creating and sharing program graduation posters.

This season of giving, we invite you to continue this incredible transformation.

Your gift will sow more seeds of kindness, empowering children to feel secure in their emotions and encouraging parents to make positive changes.
