Make Life Beautiful Day 2025 - Art Across San Diego

June 11th is Make Life Beautiful Day! This national day is about finding joy in life, celebrating the people who make life better, and appreciating the beauty around us. It doesn’t take grand gestures or extraordinary expertise—just a little effort to brighten your corner of the world and the days of those around you!

Here are a two easy ways to help make life beautiful:

💌 Send a Note – Write a thank you note or send a kind text to make someone’s day.

💛 Do a Random Act of Kindness – Go out of your way, even just a little, to help someone else. Pay it forward at the drive thru, hold the door, or help a friend. These actions can make a big difference in someone’s day and remind them of the beauty in life!

San Diego offers so much beauty to admire from the beach to visual arts.

Here are few art locations that you can visit around the city to appreciate visual arts:

📍Seaport Village

Seaport Village is right by the water so you can enjoy taking in the beauty of the ocean or browse the area. Seaport Village includes an art gallery, caricature artists, and is home to the Seaport Art & Wine Festival hosted in late June.

📍Balboa Park

Balboa Park is often considered a cultural center for San Diego with beauty all around from exquisite architecture to botanical spectacles and culture flowing through from the museums, exhibits, and community members.

📍Barrio Logan

Barrio Logan is a cultural district filled with vibrant art that celebrates the community and heritage. You can visit an art gallery or walk through the area to find incredible murals.

📍Carlsbad

Carlsbad is known for its beautiful flower farms and gardens, strawberries and murals painted by local artists. Every mural is unique and we encourage you to check them out.

Whether you go alone or make it a day for the family, we encourage you to take a minute and appreciate the beauty in life! Then, on June 11th, commit to a “Make Life Beautiful Day” for yourself, someone you care about and/or a perfect stranger.
